Proof of Concept

I had the opportunity to work with 2 new companies this week that had the same challenges and are just like many of the folks I see out here-Manual processes that are causing them pains!!They have the equivalent of sneaker net, entering data into excel spreadsheets only to print it out (email it) for another user to enter it into another system and so on...I was thinking, this is not a bad thing, people use Excel as a database, spreadsheet, presentation system, word processor but above all a proof of concept tool.We can make repeatable processes much more efficient by workflow and  automation, but I am challenged to make a system do one thing when a full moon and another when it is 90 degrees outside and excel, or a good proof of concept helps us flesh this out.Now back to work, and give me a call if you need help moving from POC to a integrated solution- enter data once but consume it everywhere needed.
